RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA, CA –Blue California announced receipt of the official notification from the U.S Food and Drug Administration (FDA) confirming the GRAS status for Blue California’s L-TeaActive™ (L-Theanine). The agency’s GRAS (Generally Recognized as Safe) confirmation makes it possible for this natural L-theanine to be used in a variety of food products. The FDA’s confirmation of this ingredient does not necessarily apply to other L-theanine products in the market.
